Who
We Are... What We Do...
Founded over ten years ago, Logistics Online Guide Network, Inc. (Lognet)
was created to be a communications link between the Internet and small
business. Our goal was, and still is, to find the needs of the small
business model, and fulfill those needs utilizing solid technologies.
We design and / or host state of the art websites for companies
across the country.
"Designing a web site is the easiest and the hardest thing to do", depending
on the customer's perception of what he or she is trying to achieve. Many
companies have gone the route of "bargain basement" sites from the "kid
down the street" or the local ISP (Internet Service Provider). There certainly
is plenty of software designed to make people think that it is simple
"point and click" and VOILA! The truth is, that just as paying $50.00
for a CAD design package doesn't make you an engineer and the same $50.00
won't make you a web designer. The whole key to reaping the benefits of
outsourcing is in spending as little of your own time as possible on tasks
that should be able to be delegated to professionals. Invariably, this
is why many small businesses STAY small. We ask simple questions that
provide us with volumes of information about your company. The rest...
is up to us... In good hands!
We do Internet marketing for our own clients as well as companies
with their own sites that wish to utilize our state of the art marketing
skills to popularize their web presence.
Again, this is an arena that is much more complicated than $50.00 software
that submits your site to hundreds of search engines. If these things
were that simple, everyone would be doing it! The Internet is full of
"get rich quick" software and services that only make money for the people
advertising it.... not USING it! A popular story on the Net recalls an
email campaign that asks for $20.00 dollars to learn the "secret" of making
money on the Internet. After sending the money to the marketer hoping
to learn the "secret", the unwitting "investor" receives a brochure telling
them how to get $20.00 from millions by promising them a "secret" on how
to get rich.... Sad but true. In truth, genuine Internet marketing, takes
an enormous amount of research and hard work to "inch" your way up the
engine lists.... and there are NO guarantees! Anyone that makes you a
promise is NOT reputable.... Period!
We design and execute marketing campaigns that span direct mail
as well as Internet techniques.
This is our newest and most exciting endeavor yet! The most successful
companies integrate their marketing efforts and schedule various campaigns,
to events within their companies as well as their industries. Today's
thrown out postcard can provide precious seconds on your website from
that cards message. Marketing is a game of split seconds and passing memories.
Large companies have marketing directors to administrate this for them
and, although we do not pretend to be able to take on that type of responsibility
for your company's public relations, we have the ability to "marry" two
very powerful marketing media together for you... Internet and paper.
Of course there are other media that work very well for some, (radio,
TV, infomercial) but the Internet as well as direct mail, have the ability
to be "always there" for future reference. In short, these two media create
a lasting impression on your prospective customers with large amounts
of content. At the same time that our Internet efforts start hitting the
search engines, we can send a direct mail campaign with color printing,
postage, paper materials and labor for as little as $1.00 per piece! These
pieces are in envelopes, with address and return address printed directly
(no tell tale labels affixed on the envelope).
We do time definite color printing and desk top publishing for
companies with deadlines to meet.
Along with the considerable investment on our part to offer direct mailing
and color printing was the opportunity to offer simple color printing
and copying services to businesses. By overnighting (or better yet, emailing)
a file to us we can do small quantities (500 or less) within one working
day and send the prints to the hotel, show or other point of presentation
that you prefer.
We program automated tracking and tracing as well as data warehousing
for mid to large companies.
Companies can hire Lognet on a per project basis to integrate their local
area network to the Internet giving their customers as well as themselves
"realtime" information as it happens. Customers can track an order, fill
out an order or have a representative call them immediately. Employees
can share files, sales leads, even have virtual conferences online.
In Closing...
Lognet has come a long way in the past ten years and realized that
technology is even more effective when used in symphony with tried and
true techniques of the past. As has always been the case, (and hopefully
always will) the more we grow, the more you benefit.
"See You In The Future..."
